Fate Never Meets
Ah, this one no need to say anything. It is all in the poem. Dated 27/5/2008.

A thousand years from now,
You may be in a land,
Far far away,
I can't reach you.

Your smell,
Your touch,
Your hair,
Reminds me of love.

Your perfume was Rose,
You never used it,
But i smelled it,
On our last meeting.

The old coffee shop,
Where we met,
Was quiet that day,
For a special reason.

We stared at one another,
Exchanging silence of sorrow,
Like blunt cigarettes,
Burning out slowly.

You liked green tea,
And never drank coffee,
Yet you ordered,
With a smile.

You hid the bitterness,
By adding lumps of sugar,
And avoiding the effects,
Of that sad encounter.

Coffee,
Is like every lover's start,
Warm, aromatic,
And addictive.

When its cold,
It is nothing but bitterness,
Like tears from your eyes,
And the empty kiss we exchanged.

That was how we ended,
Where you left me a gift,
A teardrop,
Into my cup of coffee.

I took a sip,
And how it reminds me,
The wonders we made through,
That have to end it like this.

The sorrow of the coffee,
Being cold,
Losing its purpose,
Became just another cup of coffee.

We shared love,
But not fate.
