A Poet's Life
This is a remarkable one that i wrote. It was dated 24/11/2006. It was from the inspiration of Canon D. Guess why?

As days were to pass,
His hands were to shake,
And to fall into a dark piece of paper,
Which was torn from a book.

Filled with inspiration,
Gathered courage,
He wrote a piece of work,
A brilliant one.

A piece of old paper,
Were then turned to a masterpiece,
A genius' work,
A work of a master.

Deep down inside his heart,
He was yearning something more than fame,
More than glory ,
And more than his bewildered dreams.

It ain't the amount of readers,
Nor the amount on his cheque,
All he needed was just one,
A person to really read his poem.

A poem not of flowerish language,
Not a poem to tame girls' hearts,
Nor to take their breath away,
But to just understand what he felt.

Life took his steps at different pace,
So slow that he felt frustrated,
So fast he missed her,
And he just left without a word or a sound.

As winter came,
His poem was in the cold,
Lying dark in all corners of the streets,
Leaving a memorable mark to all.

Came to realization,
Was too late,
Too much to bear the pain,
As withered rose will never come to life again.

There goes the life of a poet,
Feelings expressed through a poem,
Written specially for someone,
Only come to know that it was too late.

It lives forever in the heart of the girl,
Brought to tears,
Down on her knees,
Regretting that he was her every breath.

The poem reigns in the mind of all,
For the very last part of it states,

"I waited for you during the winter,
Too cold to bear,
Too hot as the fire burns within me,
It melts like chocolate when i see you,
But it froze me to ice when you never realize the meaning of my poem,
Was only about you,
Only you,
If destiny awaits us,
Shall we meet in the afterlife,
Next Spring?
With roses as our evidence of love.

A blue rose shall mark our meeting,
A red rose shall make our romance,
A yellow rose on our 50th anniversary,
A white rose on your tomb stone
A black rose on mine."

That night was cold,
Cold in the outside,
Cold in the inside,
Without her man to keep her warm.
